Two short Arashi Oneshots

hoopyfroodTitle: Special Treatment
Pairing: Sho/Jun, slight Arashi/Arashi
Rating: G
Summary: Sho can tell the difference between when Jun wants a hug and when he needs one.
Sho knows when Jun wants a hug.
He'll start to fidget in his seat, fingers playing with the bottom of his shirt. He'll cross and re-cross his long legs multiple times, sighing loudly, unnecessarily so, until someone gives him their attention. Sho is usually the first to cave. Mainly because he's who Jun is actually aiming for when he starts acting that way anyway, so he sort of has to cave.
Sho wordlessly opens his arms and Jun will quickly fall into them. The baby of the group soon snuggling deep into Sho's embrace, humming contently. It's a pretty regular occurrence because Jun likes the attention and affection. And, well, Sho can't resist.
Nino walks in to see them curled around each other and snorts.
“You give in way too easy Sho,” He wanders over to his bag and begins rifling through it, “He's like a spoiled princess.”
Jun angrily whips is head round, a biting remark on the tip of his tongue. Sho passively puts his hand on the back of Jun's head and pushes his face back into his chest, giving Nino a pointed look as he ducks behind Ohno.
Of course it's different for every member in Arashi, depending on who Jun wants a hug from. He'll drape himself over Ohno. An arm loose round their leaders shoulders, fingers playing with his short hair. Soon enough Ohno will have his own arm around Jun, pulling the man tight into his side.
If he wants an Aiba hug, well, he just asks. After all, Aiba is always at the ready to give anyone and everyone a hug. Sho knows Jun likes Aiba hugs because he doesn't have to work for them. Doesn't have to be slightly sneaky or overly clingy. He gets what he asks for straight away and that suits Jun perfectly.
Nino hugs are sort of rare, as they usually end up with someone being hurt. Mainly because Jun has to literally wrestle Nino into them. It's not a pretty sight to see two grown men rolling on the floor. One shouting, "Give me a damn hug bastard," whilst the other tries to bite any body part that's closet to his mouth.
Sho feels he's got the best deal. Jun never asks him directly and never forces him into one, subtly or not. He gets to see Jun all cute and flustered. It's ridiculously sweet. Even though he knows Jun is completely playing him, It still boosts Sho's ego an horrendous amount.
It's another story when Jun needs a hug though.
He never asks for them or even hints towards needing one. On the surface he doesn't appear to act any differently, to anyone outside of Arashi that is. But Sho's learnt to pick up small changes in his band mates and when it comes to Jun, well, he always notices even the smallest differences.
His voice will get unintentionally more snappy and strained. Clipped, as if he thinks whoever he's talking to is so completely below him. He usually loses a lot of points with the staff on those sort of days.
He'll avoid attracting any attention, staying silent whilst everyone talks over each other. Sitting back and keeping to himself. He'll brush off the teasing from Nino without as much as a catty remark in retaliation. His face will drop slightly, betraying tiredness and exhaustion. His movements become sluggish and he doesn't hold himself up as straight as usual.
Sho knows straight away what he needs to do.
He rests a hand on his cheek, stroking the soft skin gently with the pad of his thumb. Slowly he slides his hand round to the back of Jun's neck and pulls him into a hug. He usually finds himself having to support Jun's weight as the man sags in his arms. Hands gripping desperately at Sho's shirt and chin leaning on his shoulder, face pressed into the side of Sho's neck.
These are the sort of hugs Sho feels he excels in. Aiba's hugs are random and spazzy, Ohno's are relaxing and lazy whilst Nino's are playful and kind of hurt. Each perfect for a certain situation. Sho's are loving and strong. And whilst Sho love-hugs are for anyone in Arashi, and always will be, the ones meant for Jun are always a little more special. A little more tighter and a little more warmer.
Whilst Sho would rather give Jun the hugs he wants, he loves giving the ones he needs.
“I needed that Sho-chan,” He murmurs, lips ghosting over the skin behind Sho's ear.
“I know,” Sho finds it hard to let go, but Jun doesn't seem to mind.

Summary: Ohno and Nino discuss hypothetical Arashi babies.
“I think Aiba and Jun would have good looking kids,” Ohno says off-handly one day in the Arashi dressing room. Quite obviously just voicing whatever is running through his mind as he concentrates intently on the open sketch book in front of him. His brow furrowed as he moves his pencil across the paper, the tip of his tongue just peeking out between the corner his lips.
“Nah, Oh-chan. Aiba and Jun are both too feminine looking. You'd need to pair either of them up with Sho,” Nino states, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. Because hey, It's not weird to pair up your band mates and give them hypothetical children. Not in Arashi.
“Ok, Sho and Aiba?” Ohno stops sketching in favour of facing Nino.
“Well,” Nino puts his book on the arm of the sofa and turns towards Ohno fully, “If they had a girl she'd definitely be cute. Probably take after Aiba in the looks department.”
Nino shifts closer to Ohno until their knees touch, “He'd dress her up in little pink dresses and buy her baby animals,” He imagines Aiba cradling a tiny little girl. Petite little hands and feet, chubby cheeks and soft wisps of hair. Aiba absolutely glowing with pride, with Sho wrapping a protective arm around the both of them.
“Yeah, I could definitely see them with a little girl,” Ohno nods his head vigorously, “Would Sho and Jun have a boy then?”
“Oh without a doubt. Jun isn't as pretty as Aiba, he just looks gay. A boy would suit them better.”
“He'd be really attractive though,” Ohno says wistfully.
“Hmm,” Nino hums in agreement, “Dark eyes, dark hair, pale skin, amazing bone structure. Really striking right? Pretty but at the same time handsome.”
“Yeah, definitely taking after both of them.”
Nino imagines a Sho and Jun hybrid.
“Hot,” He mumbles to himself, “Our kids would be the best though. Can you imagine their little faces? Damn adorable,” Nino smirks leaning back into sofa with his arms crossed. Sounding very much the proud father already.
“Hmmm. I kind of want a kid with Sho-chan now,” Ohno trails off as he picks his sketch pad and pencil back up, quite clearly done and bored with the discussion.
“What?” Nino whips his head round back towards Ohno. Sho, unfortunately, chooses that moment to enter the room
“You,” Nino points at Sho. Sounding, frankly, disgusted.
“Me?” Sho gestures to himself and raises an eyebrow.
“Don't you dare touch Oh-chan. There will only ever be Ohmiya babies,” Nino pushes himself off the sofa, squaring up to Sho, which isn't all that intimidating considering his height. He jabs a finger into Sho's chest and narrows his eyes, “You get Matsujun or Aiba.”
Nino shoves Sho out of the way.
“I'm going to go get them both and bring them here. You will pick a wife Sho. Right here, right now,” Sho watches as Nino strides out of the room, fists clenched and back straight. Clearly on a mission. The only sound in the room coming from Ohno as he shifts in his seat, bringing his legs up onto the sofa and tucking them underneath him. Sho lowers himself next to their Leader, slightly dumb founded. You'd think he'd be used to bursts of Nino brashness by now.
“I, er, what was all that about? Or don't I want to know...” He tentively asks Ohno.
“I think Sho-chan should pick Jun-kun,” Ohno tells Sho seriously, restraining the cheeky grin to the best of his abilities. He fails spectacularly.
“You got him riled up on purpose didn't you,” Sho chuckles as he makes himself comfortable.
“I was bored,” Ohno shrugs, eagerly awaiting the return of Nino and their two other band mates.

I LOVE your ShoJun. ♥ so much. those are exactly the kind of hugs i imagine Sho would be best at and i firmly believe that beneath the DoS front Jun is a huge ADORABLE squish. and i love ShoJun even though it's a very tricky pairing and it can be hard not to write it awkwardly but i think the world needs more of it and you wrote it just so perfectly. >w<
